Somerset cool turned one year old in January (woo hoo!) and we'd like to thank everyone who's been a part of the adventure so far. We can't wait to share the out of the ordinary things happening in this stunning part of the world, throughout 2017.

    Somerset-based artist Harry Bunce creates cool, beautiful art described as a cross between Beatrix Potter & Stanley Kubrik! Curious? So are we, so this month we chat to Harry to discover more about him & his first love – painting - as well the story behind the characters that feature in his work. We know there’s more to the ‘bunnies’ than meets the eye & can’t wait to discover their secrets!

    Cheese glorious cheese, maturing for 20 months till it’s just perfect. Mmmmm! The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company is the only maker of authentic Cheddar in the heart of the village of Cheddar itself & we go behind the scenes to find out more about them. We also have a go at making some of this world-famous artsian cheese ourselves! Excited does not cover it... not one little bit!

It’s Hallowee’n again & on the 28th, we’re off to a secret Exmoor location for an evening of food, fun & a few surprises, as Secret Location Dining continues to create foodie adventures in unique places. Fancy a bit of mystery? Then this spooky celebration is definitely for you. Rumours are the place we're going to is definitely haunted!

    From unlikely librarian to ace maker of all things bright, beautiful & personalised, Jo Payne’s journey to establish ‘Adventures & Tea Parties’ has been as colourful as the handmade accessories she creates. We chat to Jo about her unique designs & about ‘Colour My Everyday’ - her Instagram challenge that brings people together to share one moment of colour each day.
