Somerset cool turned one year old in January (woo hoo!) and we'd like to thank everyone who's been a part of the adventure so far. We can't wait to share the out of the ordinary things happening in this stunning part of the world, throughout 2017.

August in numbers...

    For the last 9 years, The Walled Garden at Mells has been welcoming people to this unique one acre garden & gorgeous café right in the heart of the beautiful village. It’s dog friendly too (woo hoo!) so we all go & check it out this month!

    Contains Art on the quayside in Watchet is an art gallery with a difference…it’s housed in 3 converted shipping containers. We take a trip there this month, as well as visiting awesome local artist, Lucy Large, in her nearby home studio. Can't wait!

    The Queens Arms, an 18th century stone pub in the beautiful Somerset village of Corton Denham, boasts relaxed interiors, fantastic food & it also welcomes the woofers! So, in our quest to find the perfect dog friendly pub, we head there for some great grub and a few wines!

    On August 19th, in a secret forest near Frome, a very special charity event will take place. The Forest Feast is a foraged banquet with botanical drinks, live music and circus performances. All proceeds go to The Woodland Trust & we chat to the guys behind this magical event to discover a little bit more!
