It was brilliant catching up with printmaker Jackie Curtis recently, as part of 'Artists in Conversation' with Somerset Art Works.
I love Jackie's spirit. It shines through in our conversation in the same way her passion for nature and her energy for the outdoors shines through in her work.
The way Jackie experiments with different printmaking techniques is exciting too... from her first lino cut with her dad's old tools to her current quest to print En plein air with a portable printer. Her story is brave, insightful and joyful.
And of course there's a secret that no-one else knows, to conclude our chat! What will Jackie's be?
Grab a coffee, sit back and set aside 10 minutes or so to enjoy the full podcast here:
