It was a pleasure catching up with artist Paul Newman recently, as part of 'Artists in Conversation' with Somerset Art Works.
Paul's story is absorbing... from his childhood exploring the area around Poole harbour where his love for the natural world was born, to the process behind and his feelings about creating his intricate drawings. It's a fascinating listen, with Paul's passion for his practice shining through, as well as a discussion around some of the challenges it brings, plus an insight into his influences.
And of course there's a secret that no-one else knows, to conclude our chat!
Grab a coffee, sit back and set aside 10 minutes or so to enjoy the full podcast here:
