What a final few Big Night In's we've had to close off the year in style (and in a Santa hat!!), on BBC Radio Somerset.
November 25th and December 9th brought a fantastic chat with legendary Wurzel, Tommy Banner ( thanks for all your lovely messages about that one).
December 9th's show delivered a fantastic festive book review with book reviewer John Fish, and a catch up with Bethan Murray, curator of the Museum of Somerset's 'In Fashion' exhibition.
And, December 9th and 16th brought you the sparkliest and shiniest chat with filmmaker Debbie Issit, as we got to hear more about the making of the Nativity! films and about her new Netflix blockbuster, Christmas on Mistletoe Farm.
We also went to the pub together, to The Crown in Pilton, to chat about this recently refurburished gem with landlord, Owain Powell. Festive music chat brought the magic of Singer Songwriter Spencer Flay back to the show as well.
There was lots more besides and If you missed any of the recent conversations, you can catch up here for a month after the show was originally aired:
I'll also be posting some highlights on the blog over the coming weeks, so watch this space.
The Big Night In returns to BBC Radio Somerset every Friday night in January, so do join me. I can't wait to share more Somerset conversation with you.
Have a peaceful and joyful Christmas, however you choose to spend it x
Thanks to you and Big Night In's for the chats and laughs. Here's to more in 2023!
